With TrackWise 8, we are introducing a next generation configuration management capability which enables customers to establish new business processes and migrate these processes independently of each other and existing configuration. This new functionality allows multiple concurrent groups to perform configuration activities with minimal impact on one another, ensuring that projects are initiated, configured and completed faster than ever in a controlled software environment. Next generation configuration management will help companies drive continuous improvements in their processes and further mitigate risk.
We will also highlight selected user interface enhancements, including workflow visualization. This functionality graphically displays where users are in a given workflow, how they got there and what they can do next. As enterprise application deployments become more common, there are a greater number of users who have less familiarity with the software they are using and therefore a heightened sensitivity to how information is presented. The new workflow visualization feature will improve the efficiency of both regular users as well as infrequent users of TrackWise.
